How will U.S. architecture design's globally far-reaching influence in the 20th century continue in the new millennium?
How can architecture design and education in China learn from the U.S. experiences to face the challenges from the country's dazzling changes in both economy and culture? Pondering on such questions brings out this publication project. Pursuing its ultimate objective of promoting coope-ration in art and design education in Asia and Pacific area, United Asia Art & Design Cooperation initiates this report series project. The core component of this project, the published books, will-- be provided to Chinese architecture students as essential readings and Chinese professional arch-itects as crucial references.
From East coast to West coast, from New York to Los Angeles, all the participants above are caref-ully selected with extensive consulting from experts in both U.S. and Chinese architectural edu-cation institutes and have gone through rigorous examinations of our advisors. This Project will start at August,2004 and continue to the year of 2005.
